FACILITATORS
The diversity of the Leadership Experience is evident in the range of facilitators who have given their expertise and time to serve LE participants at the five-week intensive.
Pat Govender
Pat serves with Bible Centered Ministries Intl. in Africa as the Africa Children’s Ministry Training Director. She has served in many countries all over Africa. She is passionate about discipleship, therefore envisioning, equipping, and mobilising workers to do the same with in-person and online training. She is also part of the Global Children’s Forum and serves on different events and projects. She was one of the first intake of the Leadership Experience in 2016, and returned as a facilitator for LE 2020. Her heart longs to see an explosion of children everywhere walk with Jesus.
Dr Seblewongel A. Denneque
Seble is a member of the teaching faculty at the Evangelical Theological College (ETC), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where she also leads the Masters in Holistic Child Development Department. As an individual consultant, Seble is licensed for Motivational Core coaching and she leads Personal and Organizational Development Programs.
Jacky Wegoki
Jacky is a life skills trainer and coach. She is passionate about helping individuals to flourish; With an early interest in teaching and a deeply felt connection to continuous personal growth, she is engaged in developing self-empowerment programs and resources and training on the same. She serves as a children ministry leader in the Anglican Church in Kenya, Nairobi Diocese and a lead trainer with Bible Centered Ministries (BCM) International.
Derrick Banda
Derrick has a passion for networking Children Ministry Leaders and agencies in his nation of Zambia and beyond. He also loves working at identifying, training and equipping young people to excel in their leadership potential and roles. Derrick was one of the first intake of the Leadership Experience in 2016, and returned as a facilitator for LE 2018.
Sheryl Grunwald
Sheryl serves with ACTION International as their Global Children's Ministry Training Director. She has worked in 26 countries as an advocate for children's ministry and a trainer for children's ministry leaders. She also is part of the Global Leadership Team of the 1for50 movement, whose dream is to reach, disciple and empower the next generation. Currently she's working on her PhD in Holistic Child Development through the Asia Graduate School of Theology in the Philippines. She's passionate about equipping people to serve children.
Rachel Muteti
Rachel is married to Henry, with two children, and has spent most her career life teaching values as a teacher and as a mentor among of children and teenagers. Rachel has a PHD from Africa international university in child development and family studies. She is passionate about holistic learning, mentorship, and inclusivity in churches and schools. She is a stronger believer of excellence and team spirit in service.
